Lesmesodon is an extinct genus of hyaenodontid that lived during the Eocene.[1] It was found in the Messel Pit in Germany.

Fossil in Museo di Storia Naturale, Milano

Lesmesodon is featured in the first episode of the series Walking with Beasts, where it is not properly identified and is devoured at the edge of a lake by an Ambulocetus. In the companion book, it is identified as a creodont. Its CGI model in Walking with Beasts was virtually identical to that of the Cynodictis featured in the third episode.
