Liam Smyth (born 6 September 2001) is a Northern Irish footballer who plays for League Two club Stevenage.

Club career

Smyth made his Stevenage debut in the club's 8–0 loss to Charlton Athletic in the EFL Trophy, coming on as a 57th-minute substitute in the match.[2]

International career

Smyth was called up to represent Northern Ireland at under-19 level for his country's pair of friendlies against Slovakia under-19s in September 2018.[3] He had previously trained with the under-19 squad in Lilleshall six months earlier.[3][4] Smyth played in both matches, scoring the first goal in the second match, an eventual 4–1 victory on 7 September 2018.[5]
