Lise Girardin

Lise Girardin (15 February 1921 – 16 October 2010) was a Swiss politician. As a member of the Free Democratic Party she was elected to the Council of States of Switzerland after women were allowed to vote at a federal level in 1971. Girardin was mayor of Geneva on three occasions. She was the first female mayor of Geneva.[1]
