Sri Lanka is an Island Nation in the Indian Ocean. The country is always vulnerable to cyclone attacks due to its position near the confluence of the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean

Here is a list of cyclones that affected Sri Lanka. Cyclones prior to 1990 have not been included due to their lack of accuracy. Also, depressions have not been included.
