1924 Liverpool West Toxteth by-election
"The Liverpool West Toxteth by-election of 1924 was held on 22 May 1924. The by-election was held due to the resignation of the incumbent Conservative MP, Robert Houston. It was won by the Labour candidate Joseph Gibbins.[1]
