Lizard Creek is a stream located near Des Moines, Fort Dodge, Iowa in the United States.[1]

The streambed is almost all rock and sand with many large boulders.[2] It is west of Fort Dodge, Iowa. Also the water is known to be unusually clear for midwestern streams.[2]

Tourism

Lizard Creek is a popular destination for canoeing and paddling, with surrounding lodges and accommodations for tourists. The stream is accessible by the P29 (South of Clare) and the P41.
