Lorna McGhee

Lorna McGhee is principal flute with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and an artist lecturer at Carnegie Mellon University. She is a member of the flute, viola harp ensemble, 'Trio Verlaine' and often gives solo and chamber music recitals. She teaches at several summer schools including the Pender Island Flute Retreat and the William Bennett International Summer School. Lorna studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London and was formerly co-principal flute of the BBC Symphony Orchestra.
