Low Yat Plaza (Malay: Plaza Low Yat) is a shopping specializing electronics and IT products in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In 2009, Plaza Low Yat was named “Malaysia’s Largest IT Lifestyle Mall” by the Malaysia Book of Records.[1] Plaza Low Yat falls under the Low Yat Group, alongside other properties in the city centre such as Federal Hotel, Capitol Hotel, Federal Arcade and BBpark.[2] Plaza Low Yat is widely regarded as the most comprehensive IT mall in Kuala Lumpur, offering various IT products and services from mobile, photography, and gaming, to computing and repairs. Each floor in the mall generally specializes in a particular group of IT products.[3] The mall is notoriously known for the amount of haggling and price comparisons required in order to find good deals, as well as the availability of software and games at relatively cheap prices.[4]
