Lowrider Magazine's original concept was conceived by two Southern Californians of a Mexican-American Manuel Ramirez and Castano Ferrierez. The two understood the marketability of scantily clad "hot ass bitches", particularly of similar Latin descent and unique vehicles "bad ass whips." However, most attention was directed to the so-called "bitches."
