Luciana Duranti

Luciana Duranti is a professor of archival science at the School of Library, Archival and Information Studies, University of British Columbia, Canada. She is a noted expert on diplomatics and electronic records. Since 1998, she has been the director of the electronic records research project InterPARES.[1] She is the originator of the concept of the archival bond.[2] From 1998 to 1999, she was president of the Society of American Archivists.[3]
