Luigi Poletti (31 December 1864 – 10 March 1967) was an Italian mathematician and poet. He was born in Pontremoli, where he also died, age 103. His mathematical studies have been related to the expansion of the table of prime numbers, using a variant of the Sieve of Eratosthenes that he called Neocribrum.[1]
