The MEO Rip Curl Pro Portugal 2018 is an event of the World Surf League for the 2018 World Surf League Men's Championship Tour.[1]

Peniche will receive for the tenth consecutive time the race of the world championship of surfing, which is the 10th of 11 stages of WSL in 2018. The event will be held from 16 to 27 October in the Supertubos beach at Peniche, (Leiria, Portugal).[1][2][3]The brazilian, Gabriel Medina is the current champion and leads the 2018 Men's ranking as of the 9th event of the Championship Tour.[4]
