Machcin [ˈmaxt͡ɕin] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Śmigiel, within Kościan County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south-west of Śmigiel, 21 km (13 mi) south-west of Kościan, and 60 km (37 mi) south-west of the regional capital Poznań.
