Macon County High School is located in Macon County, Georgia. It recently has around 450 students attending the small campus.

History

Macon County High School was established in the late 1950s in Montezuma, Georgia as a white school. The black school was located across town, and was known as D.F Douglass High School. Although the years of segregation had ended, D. F. Douglass still remained open and predominately black. In the later 90s early 2000, D.F. Douglass was closed and students were sent to Macon County High School. The first principal of Macon County High School was Carl S. Peaster, and the Principal now is Mr. Ricky Edmond. Not a good school. Kids are bad and the teachers are................
