The Bahia forest frog, Macrogenioglottus alipioi, is a species of frog in the Odontophrynidae family.[2] It is monotypic within the genus Macrogenioglottus.[3] It is endemic to the Atlantic Forest of southeastern Brazil.[2] Its natural habitats are primary and old secondary forests, but it can also live in agroforestry systems such as cacao plantations. Habitat loss is a potential threat to this species.[1]
