Madelein Meppelink (born 29 November 1989, Rhenen) is a Dutch beach volleyball player.[2] As of 2012, she plays with Sophie van Gestel. The pair participated in the 2012 Summer Olympics tournament and lost in the round of 16 to Brazilians Juliana Felisberta and Larissa França who eventually won the bronze medal.[3]

Summer Olympics

Madelein Meppelink participated in the 2016 summer Olympics in Rio together with her teammate Marleen van Iersel, since 2014. They made it to the Round of 16, and lost to the Swiss team of Heidrich and Zumkehr in 3 sets (21–19, 13–21, 10–15)
