Mandapati Subba Rao was an Indian cricketer who played for Andhra.

Rao made a single first-class appearance for the side, during the 1959-60 season, against Mysore. From the opening order, he scored a duck in the first innings in which he batted, and 16 runs in the second, as Andhra lost the match by an innings margin.
