Manipur University of Culture was established through an Act of Manipur State Assembly, The Manipur University of Culture Bill 2015.[1] Its main purpose is to serve the people of Manipur in terms of cultural studies. Currently it operates from its temporary campus in Palace Compound, Imphal. Classes for the first batch of students will start by mid-August 2016.[2]
