Margaret Evans CBE was the Mayor of Hamilton, New Zealand from 1989 to 1998, succeeding Ross Jansen. She is the chairman of Skycity Hamilton.[1]

In 1993, Evans was awarded the New Zealand Suffrage Centennial Medal.[2]
