Markosice [markɔˈɕit͡sɛ] (Template:Lang-de) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Gubin, within Krosno Odrzańskie County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland, close to the German border.[1] It lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) south-west of Gubin, 36 km (22 mi) south-west of Krosno Odrzańskie, and 60 km (37 mi) west of Zielona Góra.

Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
