Marty Zendejas is a former professional American football placekicker. He attended college at Nevada. He is the younger brother of Tony Zendejas and the cousin of Max Zendejas and Luis Zendejas.

High School

Marty attended Don Lugo High School in Chino, California.[1]

College

Marty was named to three All-American teams (1984, 1985, 1986). He is still the all-time leading scorer at Nevada with 367 points. He made 80% of his career field goals (72 of 90) and did not have a field goal blocked while he was at Nevada. He is ranked number 7 on the collegesportingnews.com's best college kickers of all time.[2]

Pro career

In 1988, Marty was a member of the Los Angeles Cobras of the Arena Football League.[3]

Post career

In 2007, Marty was named to the University of Nevada Athletics Hall of Fame.[4] He and his brother Tony currently own restaurants in southern California.[5]
