Matthew Davies was an English or Welsh politician who sat in the House of Commons at various times between 1604 and 1624.

Davies was probably the brother of Sir John Davies, Serjeant at law. He was of the Middle Temple. In 1604, he was elected Member of Parliament for Cardiff. He was re-elected MP for Cardiff in 1614. In 1624 he was elected MP for Hindon.[1]
