Matthew James Platt (born 3 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Accrington Stanley on loan from Blackburn Rovers.
Career
In November 2015 Platt signed a new professional contract at Blackburn Rovers penning a 2-and-a-year deal.[3]
In February 2017 Platt & fellow Rovers player Connor Thomson joined Barrow on loan making 8 appearances for the bluebirds in his short spell there.[4]
In August 2017 Platt made his 1st team debut coming on as a substitute for Blackburn Rovers in the 2017–18 EFL Trophy game against Stoke City U21s.[5]
On 3 August 2018, Platt joined newly-promoted League One side Accrington Stanley on a season-long loan deal.[6]
