Maya Simantov (Hebrew: מאיה סימנטוב), also known as Maya, is an Israeli singer-songwriter, born and raised in Bat Yam to a Jewish family. Maya's debut dance album First Time received acknowledgment[by whom?] as one of Israel's all-time best dance albums and was released internationally by Star69 Records.

In 2005, Maya recorded numerous top ratings on major charts around the world, "Searching" entering the billboard top 25 and "First Time" hitting top 10 on billboard dance/club play.

In 2006, a second album entitled Second Time and the single "Be My Boyfriend" started around the world the "Offermanía" with Maya as one of the main protagonists. For 2007, Offer Nissim released a double album with their best remixes and some his own, in collaboration with Maya; the same happened in 2008 with double album Happy People which includes, among other issues, "I'm In Love", "Wish You Where Here", "Love Me", "Why" and "Happy People".
