Melanocyma is a genus of butterflies in the family Nymphalidae. They are among the butterflies commonly known as "fauns" or "duffers". [dubiousdiscuss] The genus is monotypic and restricted to Burma, Peninsular Malaya, Thailand, Indochina in the Indomalayan ecozone.[1]
