Mercer Edward Timmis (born January 19, 1994 in Hamilton, Ontario) is a Canadian football running back who played for the Calgary Dinos in the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS).[1] Now plays for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He has scored the most touchdowns in Dinos history and was a three-time CIS first team All-Canadian.[2] After the 2015 CIS season, he was ranked as the seventh best player in the Canadian Football League’s Amateur Scouting Bureau December rankings for players eligible in the 2016 CFL Draft and third by players in Canadian Interuniversity Sport.[3] He was drafted in the second round, 14th overall by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the 2016 draft.[4]
