Michael O. Tunnell (born 1950) is an American children's writer and educator. He teaches children's literature at Brigham Young University and has published several books on children's literature, especially on the work of Lloyd Alexander. He has served on the Newbery Award Committee and on the selection committee for the NCTE Award for Excellence in Poetry for Children. His children's books include novels, picture books, and non-fiction books.[1]
