Michael Otedola College of Primary Education, formerly Lagos State College of Primary Education also known as MOCOPED, is the first specialized college of primary education in Nigeria.

It also runs a degree program in affiliation with Ekiti State University.

History

Michael Otedola College of primary Education (formerly Lagos state college of primary Education) was founded on December 1, 1994 during the tenure of the Military Governor, Michael Otedola who the institution is named after.[1]
