Miguel G. "Papín" Ortíz Veléz is a Puerto Rican politician and the current mayor of Sabana Grande. Ortíz is affiliated with the Popular Democratic Party (PPD) and has served as mayor since 1993.[1][2] In 1977, he obtained a Bachelor's degree in business administration and Economics from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, San German campus.
