Miki Cottrell was a record producer and a considered member of the new wave band Fàshiön Music. He produced that band's debut album, Product Perfect, before fading into obscurity.

He was the best friend since schooldays of singer Luke James, who in 1978 went to form Fàshiön Music. He died of pancreatic cancer on 8 November 2001.[1]
