Millennium 2 is a song written by Jan Nordlund, John Henrik Lagerlöf, Stefan Enberg and Daniel Bäckström, and recorded by Markoolio on his 1999 album Dikter från ett hjärta.[1] as well as releasing it as a single on 20 October 1999.,[2] topping the Swedish singles chart.

Lyrical, the song deals with the transition from 1999 to the year 2000 within the Christian calculation. The title may mislead the listener in two ways, referring to the third millennium as the second, and the new millennium appearing one year to early.

The song charted at Trackslistan between 30 October-4 December 1999, and also recvieved a Svensktoppen test on 4 December 1999,[3] but failed to enter chart.[4]

The song was also performed at Dansbandskampen 2009 by the Sweetshots, when Markoolio was tonight's theme.
