Since 1986, the Executive Council of Manitoba has included a minister responsible for Constitutional Affairs. The position is not a full cabinet portfolio, and has always been held by a minister with other cabinet responsibilities.

The current minister is Dave Chomiak, who is also the provincial Minister of Justice, Attorney-General and Keeper of the Great Seal.
