The Ministry of Defence of Armenia (Armenian: Հայաստանի պաշտպանության նախարարություն) is an Armenian governmental agency in charge of overseeing the development of the Armed Forces of Armenia. It is located in building 5 on 0044 Bagrevandi Street in Yerevan.[1] The Ministry of was officially established on January 28, 1992 by decree of the President of Armenia.

Responsibilities
The Ministry of Defense is the executive body which implements the policies of the Armenian Government in the defense sector. It oversees the budget of the armed forces and ensures the safety of troops[2]
