Miodrag Simović is a current Judge of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He was born in Foča on 3 November 1952. He graduated from the Novi Sad Law School as one of the best students. In 1981, he obtained his master’s degree after completion of postgraduate studies in criminal law in Novi Sad. He defended his doctor’s dissertation at the same faculty in 1985. After completing his law studies he worked in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the SRBiH and in the Ministry of Justice and Administration of the SRBiH. From 30 January 1991 until 25 October 1993 he was holding the office of the Vice-President of the Government of the SRBiH and the Republic of BiH.

He was elected the Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republika Srpska on 24 December 1998 and held the office until 13 May 2003 when he was appointed Judge of the Constitutional Court of BiH. He is appointed Vice-President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina by the end of May 2003 and reappointed in May 2006. He is a regular professor at the Faculty of Law in Banja Luka and at the Faculty of Law in Bihać where he teaches Criminal Procedural Law. He is the member of the Legal Sciences Board of the Department for Social Sciences of the Academy of Arts and Sciences of the Republika Srpska and the Head of the Criminal Procedural Law Clinic at the Faculty of Law in Banja Luka. He is the Member of the Presidency of the Association of Lawyers of the Republika Srpska and the Member of the Editorial Board in six magazines. Additionally, he is the editor-in-chief of the magazine "Izbor sudske prakse" from Belgrade for Bosnia and Herzegovina. He presented over 400 works to the scientific and professional community.
