Miroslav Buljan (born December 18, 1955) is Croatian former footballer and manager who particularly managed various Croatian clubs in the Croatian First Football League, Croatian Second Football League, and Croatian Third Football League. .

Career

Buljan began playing football at the youth level in 1974 with Dinamo Zagreb.[1] In 1975, he reached the professional ranks by signing with NK BSK, and played with them until the 1983 season.[2]During his tenure with NK BSK he managed to achieve a UEFA coaching license, and received his first coaching experience in 1996 with NK Marsonia in the Croatian First Football League.[3]Following the relegation of Marsonia he remained in the top tier after managing NK Slaven Belupo in 1997.[4]In 2000, he went abroad to manage in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina with NK Široki Brijeg.[5]

After a season in Bosnia he returned to Croatia where he had several managerial stints in the Croatian Third Football League with NK Sloga, NK Karlovac, and NK Ogulin.[6][7][8]In 2006, Buljan began managing in the Croatian Second Football League with NK Belišće, and with NK Koprivnica in 2007.[9][10]He went abroad once more in 2008 to the Canadian Soccer League to manage Toronto Croatia.[11][12][13]In 2010, he returned to the 2. HNL where he managed MV Croatia.[14][15]Buljan was appointed the head coach in 2011 for King Faisal Babes F.C. in the Ghanaian Premier League.[16] After a season in Africa to returned to MV Croatia and managed the club in 2012.[17]
