Moataz Ali Mohamed Ben Amer (Arabic: معتزمحمدعلي بن عامر) (born 1981) is a Libyan football player[1] who plays for his hometown club Al Ahly Benghazi. Ben Amer is the captain of the side, and is a renowned penalty taker. As Ben Amer plays in defence, he rarely scores many goals, but as he takes all of his side's spot kicks (and normally scores them all), he normally gets around 10 goals a season. Ben Amer wears the number 21 shirt for his side, and has been the captain since the start of the 2006-07 season. He has represented the Libyan national team.
