Mohammed-Awal Issah (born 4 April 1986 in Accra) is a Ghanaian footballer. He last played for AmaZulu.

Career

Club career

Issah began his career by Real Sportive and has signed a two-year contract with AmaZulu in the South African PSL in August 2007.[1]

On 10 October 2008, he has gone to Serbia for trials with Red Star Belgrade.[2] On 1 January 2009, left South Africa based club AmaZulu and signed with Red Star Belgrade.[3] where he played for the following 3 seasons until he signed for the Norwegian club Rosenborg BK in the summer transfer-window of 2011.

On 25 January 2013, Issah joined Veria F.C. on a contract of 1.5 years. Veria is part of the Greek Super League. Veria is one of the most stable financial clubs in Greece, despite the financial problems that the country faces.[4]

On 1 August 2013, Rosenborg and his former club AmaZulu agreed on a transfer deal, taking him back to South-Africa after almost 5 years in European-football.[5]

He is former member of the Black Starlets team for the 2007 Toulon Tournament.[7]
