Mostafa Chendid is a Moroccan born Imam. He received Danish citizenship in 2002.

Chendid, used to be a member of the Islamic Society in Denmark, where he was functioning as a spiritual tutor, and thought of as following in the footsteps Abu Laban. He is currently member of the Islamic Moroccan Council of Scandinavia, and is likewise functioning as the shariah adviser of the Islamic bank in Denmark known as Amanah. Moreover, Chendid is besides vigour teaching in Islamic subjects, turned out to be something of a prolific writer, having written serious articles on various issues concerning Muslims in the west, and furthermore expects to publish a book on that very issue in the near future.
