Mount Albert-Ponsonby is a semi-professional association football club in Mount Albert, Auckland, New Zealand. They will compete in the Lotto Sport Italia NRFL Division 1 for the 2017 season after narrowly missing out on promotion to the Premier Division after finishing 3rd in 2016.

History

The team were briefly known, during their second season in the old New Zealand National Soccer League (1972) as Auckland City FC - this being a different team to the current side which has operated under that name since 2004.

Present day

Mount Albert-Ponsonby current homeground is Anderson Park, Mt Albert, Auckland. The Balcony attached to the clubrooms is famous in Auckland Football for its noise and banter with opposition supporters and players.

The teams current kit colours are Blue with a Gold trim for the home kit, and Red for the away kit. Its current kit sponsor is Woodview Construction.

The current Manager of Mount Albert-Ponsonby is former Scottish professional Scott MacKay.

Sponsorship

Mount Albert-Ponsonby is currently supplied with kits from Lotto Sport Italia. Lotto's sponsorship is never majorily active.

Woodview Construction is the major club sponsor.
