Myking Church (Norwegian: Myking kyrkje) is a parish church in Lindås municipality in Hordaland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Myking. The church is part of the Myking parish in the Nordhordland deanery in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The white, stone church was built in 1861 by the architect Christian Heinrich Grosch. The church, which seats about 250 people, was consecrated on 17 November 1861. The present church is probably the third church at Myking. The two earlier churches were probably a stave church from the Middle Ages followed by a timber framed church from 1606. The present church stands about 300 metres (980 ft) from the site of the previous church. It was the request of the villagers that the present church be built of stone from the surrounding area rather than a wood church.[1][2]
