NK Bigeste Ljubuški is a football club from Ljubuški, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The club was established in 2005. Bigeste is named after the Roman camp near Ljubuški and the club plays its games at Babovac Stadium. The club is currently a member of the second division of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina jug after it had successfully completed the league season Međužupanijskoj HBC and WHC in the first place. With seniors Bigeste has juniors and cadets who are competing in a youth league BiH – South, and beginners and pioneers.

History

Founded in 1937 as Ljubuški youth sports club, but he stopped working due to the outbreak of World War II. In 1947 the club was briefly revived under the name Udarnik. Since 1952. There NK Sloga who worked until 1957. The club had success in the zonal leagues and no longer had problems to survive, unlike the previous incarnation. In 1994 the club changed its name to HNK Ljubuški. In the 2000–2001 season, Centers of Herceg-Bosna, including HNK Ljubuški, entered in the Premier League of BiH. After only one season, were relegated to a lower division, first division of the FBiH. In the 2007–08 season. played in another league Federation – South. The team after two games played not disqualified from league. Tada comes time Bigeste (2005), only four years later (2009) dolatzi activated NK Sloga. The desire unity was to unite two Ljubuški club Bigeste opposed the move, in the future, several players moved to another city club.
