Nameplate (publishing)
Appearance
In American usage, a publication's nameplate is a publication's designed title as it appears on the front page or cover. In the United Kingdom and many other Commonwealth nations, it is known as masthead.[1] [2]
In American usage, the term masthead refers to a printed list, published in a fixed position in each edition, of its owners, departments, officers and address details,[3][4] which in British English usage is known as imprint.[1]
