Narcology (Template:Lang-ru, Russian pronunciation: [nərkɐˈɫoɡʲɪɪ̯ə]) is a Russian and former Soviet Republics medical specialty that deals with the treatment of drug addiction.[1][2]

The practitioner of narcology is referred to as an narcologist (Template:Lang-ru).

In the United States, the comparable term is addiction medicine.

The medical discipline of narcology in the Russian Federation is a branch of psychiatry.[3]
