National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) is located in Islamabad, Pakistan. Dr. Nasim Ashraf was the chairman followed by current chairperson Nafisa Shah.

National Commission for Human Development is a not for profit organization whose mission is to improve access to basic education and healthcare in the country’s poorest communities. NCHD is working in 134 districts of Pakistan.[1] Dr. Allah Bakhsh Malik PhD PAS UNESCO Confucius Laureate and Federal Additional Secretary also served as DG NCHD.

NCHD was established in 2002.
