The National Undergraduate Research Clearinghouse' [1] was developed at Missouri Western State University using National Science Foundation Grant DUE 97-51113. The Clearinghouse is an online journal for undergraduates in any STEM fields (Science Technology Engineering and Math) discipline to disseminate their research. The site has been online since 1997 and has been featured in Science [2] and Nature.[1] Articles from the Clearinghouse have been used by dozens of journalists as the basis for stories. These include 20/20, the Wall Street Journal,[2] LA Daily News,[3] and Fox News.
