Nazia Iqbal (Pashto: نازيه اقبال) is a Pashtun singer from Pakistan.[1]

Early years and Personal life

Iqbal was born in Swat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in 1980. She belongs to the Pashtun Ethnicity.

Her fan base is primarily in Pakistan and Afghanistan, as well as being popular among Pashtuns abroad. Iqbal sings in several languages, including Pashto, Urdu, Punjabi, Dari and English. In 2005, she married a fellow performer, Javed Fiza, and settled with him in Maina Battan Lower Dir .
