Neeshan Prabhoo, also known as "The Hitman" or "D'Hitman" is a chutney musician.[1]

His first chutney song was recorded in 1997, which was the popular hit "Don't Hold Me Back". It is still a favorite to this day and has been remixed several times by different artists.

Neeshan Prabhoo took a break from singing and recorded his most sought-after tune, More Rum For Me, better known as Listen Mr Shankar. Neeshan has toured extensively throughout the world. He just released his latest CD, which includes various genres, such as parang, reggae, chutney and soca.

He has made a name for himself locally as well as abroad with his hit "Fire Water", produced by disc jockey and producer Big Rich.

Along with Fito Blanko, Prabhoo has experimented with a new genre called chutneyton which combines chutney music with reggaeton. Their most famous hit together has been a song called "Pretty Gyal".
