Career

Salathiel was signed by Wrexham from the Sheffield Wednesday youth team.[2] However, he would only make four appearances for the club before leaving for Crewe Alexandra in 1981.[2]

Salathiel would then sign for South African club Arcadia Shepherds[2] but would return to Wrexham after less than a year, where he would spend 7 years, making 240 league appearances for the Welsh club.[1]
