Nemanja Pejčinović (Serbian Cyrillic: Немања Пејчиновић, pronounced [němaɲa pejtʃǐːnoʋitɕ]; born 4 November 1987) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Chinese side Changchun Yatai.
Club career
Pejčinović was former captain of Serbian Superliga club FK Rad. From 12 January 2009 until the end of season he was on loan at Red Star Belgrade.[2] In the summer of 2009, he was invited to test with German club Hertha BSC, who subsequently loaned him for the 2009–10 season.[3]
Nice
Pejčinović joined OGC Nice on loan in the summer of 2010; the club subsequently exercised their option, signing him through the 2014 season on 21 December 2010.[4] On November 17, 2013, it was announced that Pejčinović was fined by OGC Nice for accepting a call from Ljubiša Stamenković to represent "Serbia B" in a friendly match against the Serbian national team on November 19, 2013. At the end of the 2013-14 season, Pejčinović decided not to renew his contract citing that he wanted to play European football the next season.[5]
Lokomotiv
On 11 June 2014, Pejčinović signed long-term deal with FC Lokomotiv Moscow. Lokomotiv looked for enforcing their defensive line before 2014–15 UEFA Europa League with experienced and still progressing player able to cover almost every position in defence.[6]
Changchun Yatai
On 8 July 2018, Pejčinović signed for Chinese club Changchun Yatai on a free transfer.[7]
International career
He made his international debut for Serbia with appearance during the friendly game with Poland on 14 December 2008 and represented his country at 2009 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship in Sweden.[8]
