New Educational College (NEC) was in 1961 and is a private secondary school in Bel Air, Riviere Seche, Mauritius.[citation needed]

Its objectives are to provide education to the children of Bel Air, Rivière Sèche and the surrounding villages.[citation needed]

More than eight thousand pupils have been educated at the NEC since its debut.[citation needed]
